GBRAN Appoints Six Department Heads to Strengthen Organizational Structure
JAKARTA, STUPA NEWS — The Central Executive Board of Gerakan Berani Nusantara (GBRAN) has appointed six new department heads as part of efforts to strengthen its organizational structure and support the implementation of its national work programs.
The appointments were formalized through Decree No. 013/DPP-GBRAN/X/2026, dated October 13, 2026, and signed by GBRAN Chairman Rimson Maruli Sinaga and Secretary-General Jati Erna Sahara, also known as Dije.
Dije said the appointments were intended to improve organizational performance and ensure that programs were implemented in accordance with internal procedures.
“The department heads will carry out their duties professionally, coordinate with the central leadership and be accountable for implementing work programs in accordance with the organization's mechanisms,” Dije said at GBRAN's headquarters in Rawamangun, Jakarta, on Tuesday (Oct. 13).
The six appointees are Syarif Al Qadri, who will lead the Business and Commercial Affairs Department; Paijan MS, who will head Ideology, Social and Political Affairs; and Khairul Basri, who will lead the Organization, Cadre Development and Membership Department.
RM Gusti Haes has been appointed head of Media, Communications, Information and Institutional Relations; Aryo Tyasmoro will lead the Legal and Advocacy Department; and Ir. Ghozali will head the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Department.
Dije said the new department heads would be required to carry out their programs within the scope of their assigned authority and in accordance with GBRAN's articles of association and bylaws.
Meanwhile, Rimson urged the new leadership team to uphold the organization's reputation, integrity and credibility. He also called on members to focus on organizational activities and avoid being distracted by unverified claims.
Rimson said GBRAN was continuing preparations for the inauguration of its Papua Raya leadership, as well as the inauguration of district-level and subdistrict-level management teams at 11 locations across Indonesia.
The organization is also preparing to hold its national conference, known as Musyawarah Nasional (Munas), in Medan.
He said all the planned activities would proceed as scheduled. Rimson also expressed hope that Joko Widodo, whom he identified as GBRAN's advisory board member, would attend the national conference. (Aiko Zahra)
