Indonesia Labour Ministry Selects Participants for 2026 MagangHub Internship Program

JAKARTA, StupaNews — Indonesia’s Ministry of Manpower is conducting the selection and finalization of participants for the second intake of the 2026 National Internship Program, known as MagangHub, from Sept. 16 to 18, with internships scheduled to begin on Sept. 21.

The ministry is expected to announce the selected participants on Sept. 18.

Darmawansyah, director general for vocational training and productivity development at the ministry, said the candidates undergoing selection had previously been recruited and nominated by participating program partners.

“The selection and determination of participants are carried out for candidates nominated by participating partners in accordance with the program requirements,” Darmawansyah said in a ministry statement on Wednesday.

Candidates who meet the requirements will be selected to take part in the internship program based on the placement and program they have chosen.

Those who are selected are scheduled to begin their internships on Sept. 21.

The second intake of the 2026 program began with registration for participating partners and available internship positions from Aug. 21 to 31.

The ministry then conducted verification and published the available positions from Sept. 1 to 3, followed by participant registration from Sept. 3 to 8.

Participating partners conducted recruitment and submitted their nominated candidates from Sept. 9 to 15, before the candidates entered the ministry’s selection and finalization stage.
