LIN Prepares 9th Anniversary Event in Jakarta in November

JAKARTA, Aug 20, 2026 — Lembaga Investigasi Negara (LIN), an Indonesian civil society organization, plans to hold its ninth anniversary event in Senayan, Jakarta, on Nov. 1, 2026, with organizers expecting thousands of members from 38 provinces to attend.
Abdul Ghofur, chairman of the anniversary organizing committee, said preparations were under way for the national event, including social activities and organizational consolidation.
“Thousands of LIN members from 38 provinces are expected to attend the ninth anniversary event in Senayan, Jakarta, on Nov. 1,” Ghofur said during a meeting of the LIN East Jakarta branch on Wednesday evening.
He said the Nov. 1 date had been set as the main anniversary event and would serve as a reference for LIN branches across Indonesia to organize related activities in a coordinated manner.
Ghofur said about 50 members of the East Jakarta branch were ready to support the national event.
The organizers are also exploring cooperation with several national companies, including potential sponsorship for the anniversary activities.
The anniversary program will carry the theme “LIN for the Nation” and involve the organization’s regional branches, LIN said. (Gusti)
