Indonesia's Manpower Ministry Begins Selection for National Vocational Training Batch 4

JAKARTA, Aug. 12 (STUPA NEWS) - Indonesia's Manpower Ministry has closed registration for the fourth batch of its 2026 National Vocational Training Programme, with the selection of applicants scheduled to run from Aug. 13 to Aug. 19, the ministry said on Wednesday.

Registration closed at 11:59 p.m. local time on Aug. 12, the ministry said.

Darmawansyah, director general for vocational training and productivity development at the ministry, said the selection process was intended to assess applicants' readiness and suitability for their chosen training fields.

"Selection is an important stage before applicants are officially designated as training participants," Darmawansyah said.

He urged applicants to follow each stage of the selection process according to the schedule and to regularly check information through the ministry's Skillhub platform.

The vocational training programme is designed to provide participants with skills relevant to labour market needs, Darmawansyah said.

He said successful applicants should take part in the training with discipline and actively apply the skills they acquire to improve their competitiveness in the labour market.

The selection results will be announced on Aug. 20 through the Skillhub platform, the ministry said.

Those selected will attend an orientation session and begin training on Aug. 26.

Darmawansyah said the success of the training would depend not only on the material provided but also on participants' commitment to the learning process and their ability to apply the skills gained. (Kinantan)
