STUPA NEWS ■ JAKARTA — The Head of the Police Training School (SPN) of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Norul Hidayat, has received the 2026 Hoegeng Award in the Integrity Police Officer category in recognition of his commitment to promoting integrity within the Indonesian National Police.
The award was presented during the 2026 Hoegeng Awards ceremony at The Tribrata Darmawangsa in South Jakarta on Friday.
Norul was recognized for consistently enforcing discipline and integrity at the Bangka Belitung Police Training School, including taking firm action against illegal levies and instilling ethical values, professionalism, and moral character among police cadets.
The Hoegeng Awards honor police officers who demonstrate outstanding integrity, dedication, innovation, and public service. Recipients are selected through an independent evaluation process conducted by a panel of experts representing various sectors of society.
National Police Public Relations Division Chief Inspector General Johnny Eddizon said the award reflects the importance of integrity as a core principle of police service.
"The Hoegeng Awards are not merely a form of recognition but also a reminder that integrity remains the foundation of every police officer's duty," Johnny said.
He expressed hope that the award would inspire police personnel across the country to uphold professionalism, strengthen ethical standards, and enhance public trust through transparent, accountable, and integrity-driven public service. (Haes)
