22 Nations Conclude MPE Garuda Canti Dharma III 2026 as Indonesia Reinforces Global Peacekeeping Commitment

BOGOR, Indonesia – A total of 1,014 participants from 22 countries officially concluded the Multinational Peacekeeping Exercise (MPE) Garuda Canti Dharma III 2026, following a closing ceremony led by Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Chief of Operations Lt. Gen. Bobby Rinal Makmun at the Indonesian Peacekeeping Mission Center (PMPP TNI) in Sentul, Bogor, on Friday.
The ceremony was attended by senior TNI officials, the Commander of PMPP TNI, representatives from government ministries and agencies, the Indonesian National Police, defense attachés from partner nations, commanders of peacekeeping centers, and participating military personnel.
In a message delivered on behalf of TNI Commander, Lt. Gen. Bobby Rinal Makmun emphasized that multinational exercises such as Garuda Canti Dharma are far more than routine military activities. They represent a strategic investment in building mutual trust, strengthening international cooperation, and enhancing collective readiness to support global peace under the framework of United Nations peacekeeping operations.
The exercise also underscored Indonesia's commitment to contributing to international peace and security through professional and adaptive military diplomacy.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in a series of operational scenarios and training modules designed to improve interoperability, strengthen professional capabilities, and enhance coordination among multinational peacekeeping forces in responding to increasingly complex mission environments.
According to the TNI, the exercise aimed to foster stronger partnerships, mutual confidence, and long-term cooperation among participating countries, providing a solid foundation for future United Nations peacekeeping missions.
MPE Garuda Canti Dharma III reaffirmed Indonesia's growing role as an active contributor to global peacekeeping efforts while highlighting the country's capability to host international military training that meets global standards. (Hd)
